How It works

PBM Therapy Applications

Photobiomodulation or PBM therapy is a non-invasive medical solution for multiple health conditions that can be delivered through multiple devices. One of these devices is an LED Light Bed that can deliver optimal wavelengths and power densities of red/near-infrared light to the entire body to treat degeneration or injury, and reduce pain or inflammation. PBM therapy has the ability to alleviate oxidative stress, which is one of the major causes of chronic inflammation that further causes multiple chronic ailments. LED is not only safe and soothing, but ensures zero side effects as well.

Known for having multiple areas of applications such as arthropathies, fractures, lymphedema, neuropathies, soft tissue injuries, degenerative disc disease, and tendinopathies, LED light therapy is highly effective, especially for patients who do not respond to conventional treatments.

The Process

It is a quick process that takes only thirty minutes to sixty minutes depending on the severity of the patient’s condition.

The PBM process involves placing of a light source near or touching the patient’s skin, which allows photons to penetrate the tissue and come in contact with chromophores residing in cells. This leads to photophysical and photochemical changes, which further result in changes at multiple levels (molecular, cellular and tissue) in the body.

The near infrared light used during the therapy triggers physiological reactions in damaged cells and consequently, results in tissue regeneration, improved cellular energy, increased blood circulation, wound healing, pain relief, and inflammation alleviation.

PBM Therapy – An Innovative Approach to Conventional Treatments

Unlike conventional treatments that only treat pain symptoms, LED or PBM therapy bed works at the cellular level, thereby offering faster cure from various medical conditions along with long-lasting benefits.
